We are proud to announce that Monitor Audio has received the prestigious 2019 Editor's Choice Award from the Absolute Sound for a total of three speakers! The winners include the Platinum PL500 II tower speaker, the Silver 300 floorstanding speaker, and the STUDIO standmount speaker. 

All three speakers have been reviewed by The Absolute Sound and have received critical acclaim. 

STUDIO was reviewed recently by Drew Kalbach and appeared in the February 2019 issue of The Absolute Sound. Drew called the build and finish quality "exceptional", while saying the STUDIO's "have remarkable depth in the lower end".  He went on to say that the bass is "satisfying and controlled", and the midrange is "gorgeous and lush, with no trace of hardness in the upper registers on vocals."

The Silver 300 was reviewed by Robert Harley in March 2018. Robert said the Silver 300 has a "big, bold, and robust sound" and "outstanding portrayal of dynamics-quick, powerful, and full of verve." Robert went on and said "this is one very well designed loudspeaker and a great value".

Julie said the PL500 II's "have proven infinitely enjoyable in their layers of depth and detail, delightful musicality, and overall coherence." She went on to say the PL500 II's offer "superb build quality, advanced technologies, and value far exceeding their price."
